This is a reflection on translation, putting words in another language's context. Miss Doodle has been busy translating at a conference last weekend. Translating for people, sorting out language salad, everybody talking at the same time.
Miss Doodle, a link in a linguistic chain, transferring ideas, words, concepts into another language...
Painting is easier for us, but translating it is a good exercise for the brain and it's a good thing to make people better understand each other's point of view.

OMG Miss D! You do need a vacation. How your head must have been swimming with all of those words and with you being "ON" all the time!

I am sure this is a perfect translation of what you and your secretary dealt with for days on end. Your secretary has a real way with the brush and pen! I always love your adventures, though.
Miss Doodle. You are so talented. And kind to help all these folks communicate. A most important job. It's hard enough to understand each other when we speak the same language, much less different ones. Yours is a very important place in the world.

I can sympathize with this situation and think the doodle is quite apt... after hearing so much talk in another language and trying to translate it starts to seem to me that we are all actually speaking the same language and only the accent is different...

I've always wondered how much is lost in translation and how difficult it must be to try to "get it right". I commend you for your ability, Miss Doodle. Tough job.

I think translation would be exhausting--you have to make yourself think in another language, and I know how tired I have been when I did that in French. Good for you that you have that ability. I admire it! Sweet painting to depict it all!
