April 4th, 2008 - Miss Doodle in New York!

Sorry, we haven't been able to let you know what we were up to, yesterday. A lot of things had to be organized. (Don't worry, the Friday Fashion Page will be back next week!)

Miss Doodle is in New York for a few days, she has to take pictures of this wonderful city. She is staying at Ritz Carlton Battery Park, she has a Deluxe City View Room.

This is the view from her room at night on New York Harbour and the Statue of Liberty. Now, isn't she the luckiest of all girls?

You've catched the darkeness in the city so well: the lights and even the lighter sky just above the city, althought it still is dark. Well done.

Miss D! You are the girl! Not only are you having another wonderful adventure, but your secretary has gotten you a lovely place to stay with an incredible view, too! This is very exciting....I see you are taking lots of photographs! :)

I have to agree with Corryna that you have captured the city so very well and the way the lights play in the sky! Beautiful Work!

Wow Miss doodle. Are you REALLY in NY? Have fun if so. Great painting and it was the French who gave us the statue so I see it stands forth tall and strong in your painting.

Thank you for all your comments on Miss Doodle's trip to NYC, and: Welcome Malcho:)

While Miss Doodle is working AND having fun in New York, her secretary is taking care of things in Paris, but there will soon be other pictures from New York. Have a wonderful weekend,
