This week the Metro is almost empty, a lot of people are on vaccation because the February school holidays have begun last week.
Yesterday afternoon the world turned grey, a lead-grey, and then it began to rain. Heavy rain all afternoon all over Paris.
Everything was wet, people and pets hurrying from one shelter to another. Copyright ©estandrea - All rights reserved

I'm betting that even in the rain Miss Doodle shines through :)
It seems a bit gloomy when it's raining and there are not many people on the streets or in the Metro.
The dog and cats are so funny. Yes, rain is perhaps gloomy yet it can be cozy to be inside and look out at it.
Stay dry Miss doodle. We don't want you to wash away. Or maybe you are waterproofed?
Oh I love these drawings!
Miss Doodle, I am glad you are getting a little break from the metro crowds, but I am sorry you are getting so wet! You know, I have a feeling it means the flowers are going to burst forth once the sun comes out again...and then think of the photos you can gather then! Wow!
I bet your beautiful smile makes the city a shining light, dispite the rain. Cuddle up inside when you can.
Nasty weather but yes it still can be cozy even out in it. Love these drawings. Miss Doodle can look glamourous even in the pouring rain. :)
I love the rain drawing--and the dog shaking off! Just like Joey--he is finally learning to shake OUTSIDE on the porch, before we go in! These are so great---I could see a Miss Doodle book---or maybe as a strip in a newspaper or magazine. Why don't you submit Miss Doodle to The New Yorker? That would be perfect! I can see it all now..........
