September 16th, 2008 - Preparing for the "FULL METAL JACKET" mode

Soon tough times will begin. From late September until February/March, Paris is on a race. With it's peak just before Christmas. The metro is overcrowded, and so are the streets and the shops and the museums, life is speed.

In view of this franctic period, Miss Doodle asked her secretary to design her a protective outfit, comfortable, capable to ward off fiercest attacks and still looking stylish....

Oh, and stylish you are Miss Doodle! Your secretary is so talented...how lucky you are!

I think Paris is like a lot of cities in the Northern Hemisphere...same goes here, too!

Thanks Miss Doodle!

Oh dear. You live in a City that is so popular that you dont get to enjoy it as much during the busy seasons. Reminded me of where we moved from. The Beach area in Southern California. Everyone from Inland came to the beach to be cool on weekends and holidays & we couldnt get anywhere in the traffic much less to the Beach. Love the armor.:)))

Oh Ms. Doodle - I so sympathize with you - having your homeland overrun with impatient and obvlivious tourists. It takes longer to get anywhere, longer wait at restaurants, cinema, etc., and while at times (like Christmas) crowds can be exciting and invigorating -- they certainly can take their toll on our patience and mood.

How hilarious!
Stay safe!

Perhaps this year you could embrace the crowds... especially with that suit.

Life is a mere matter of perspective, right?
