Monday September 29th, 2008 - working for the exhibition

Miss Doodle is very busy helping her secretary to make a list of all the pieces which will go into the exhibition in November. Watercolour paintings, textile works, acrylic paintings both on canvas and on paper , prints, all in all 61 pieces. Some are already in Germany, and some are still in Paris.

At the same time the secretary (driving her husband crazy with this last-minute-inspirational-artwork:) puts the final stitches (or almost final:) to the three textile pieces which will go into a collective exhibition here in Paris...

Oh Miss Doodle. You are a whirlwind. Your secretary is lucky to have your help. :) This is an enormous number of works to organize and complete. Good luck with the Paris exhibition too. Hmmm, husband maybe didn't realize what it was like to be married to an artist. But just think what life and excitement Miss d and secretary bring to the mix.

Miss Doodle,

You are amazing! I can't imagine how your secretary is doing all these exhibits!

I think your secretary's husband is probably not only stressed because he doesn't understand, but he is also proud! At least that is what I am guessing.

I think you all are a dream-team!

And by-the-way, this is a great painting. I love the colors and the composition.

Oh dear Miss Doodle. You are so very busy. I too have been busy and am sorry I have not been by to visit you. I'm sure your exhibit will do well for you. How lucky you are to have such a wonderful secretary (and husband!)

I do LOVE this picture. One of my favorites - again.

good luck for your exhibition, where is that in Paris ? ;o) husbands hu hu ... I remembered my husband that he was looking for a woman's voice to read fake ads on a radio libre 27 years ago when 'la bande FM' started in France, and so we "worked" together and etc. but ... he didn't know I would turn a feminist like that ;o) well I had the feminist thing inside already (alien do you hear me ?) ;o) bonne chance pour ton expo, I'll be please to visit the exhibition if I can.

Emelire: thanks so much for your comment here, and it's fun to hear how you met your husband, wow, 27 years already? Funny cause at that time (when the "radios libres started) I spent my first year in Paris as an assistant teacher in Neuilly sur Seine, talk about spoiled kids, - I discovered that my true calling was NOT to be a teacher:)
but: Congratulations! Wow 27 years. Can't beat that, I have only be married for 7 years now:)

The exhibition is in a place called CEA in Saclay, some 20 km outside Paris, and unfortunately only can be seen by the employees, I guess. Sorry but I hope to be able to organize other exhibition here in Paris, once the one in Germany is finished. Thanks so much for asking,
Andrea
