The Chinese Fountain

Miss Doodle is sitting in the waiting room of a chinese massage parlor. She is waiting for the masseuse and has time to study the decoration. There is an enourmous happy golden Buddha (plastic?), a mini audio equipment and a tiny chinese fountain. It is made of ceramics, more likely of plastic too, it doesn't function and it is very kitschy. At the same time it is beautiful and soothing.

Sounds like you're in for a soothing treat! I'm jealous. I'm at a work retreat for several days and could use that. Lovely sketch here of your happy spot. You've elevated it to something more than plastic looking, that's for sure.

it's great when one of these mini fountains is in the waiting room...i love the sound of water... so soothing and relaxing...
and you said it's not functioning...ha? oh this is the magic of art... it's functioning in your talented secretary's painting...

Ah the peaceful sounds of running water. That alone soothes me and add a nice long massage. Perfection. Can't wait for part 2 tomorrow. :)
Looks like it is working to me too.

Hey, this is a great little sketch. I really like it. The fountain is like nothing I have seen before, so interesting.

Did you find the plastic made the falling water have a different sound? I am just curious.

Fun little sketch...I can't wait to see tomorrow...

Enjoy the massage, Miss Doodle!
